Hello World,

Welcome to my domain; cabra.cx. While it’s a thought that has been developing in me for years now, the events of the last 18 months have galvanized in me a decision to leave the ‘closed’ internet. I’ve deleted my Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, and Twitter. And I know that social media platforms allegedly dedicated to free speech exist (gab.com, parler, mewe, telegram, and others), I don’t trust that their respective boards will always act in the way I would wish. They all have as much potential for censorship and manipulation as the platforms I’ve left. So my social network is email, ‘follow’ me by subscribing to the email version of this websites posts below and contact me directly at jamie@cabra.cx

P.s. I do also hang out in the forums at smallformfactor.net and startingstrength.com, I do believe in small topic based communities hosted by a single entity, but as soon as you remove the topic, things get scary. I didn’t feel safe saying what I really thought on Facebook and others.
