Pharmaceutical companies have no economic interest in your health
It’s well known that in business it’s easier to keep a client than it is to get a client, and you had better bet that pharmaceutical companies are engaged in customer retention. Who is a customer for the pharmaceutical companies? People with ‘symptoms’. The more chronic the better.
Doctors are salesman and should be treated as such
I’ve seen a lot of doctors, I’ve had doctor friends and I married a doctor. I know doctors. And doctors are trained by pharmaceutical companies to provide pharmaceutical solutions for your health.
Yet, there is more to health than pills. Diet, lifestyle, meditation, chiropractic care, homeopathy, and even sacred geometry are all things that have been demonstrated to improve health, but your doctor won’t present those options to you.
Doctors jobs don’t depend on making you better
Sorry for picking on doctors, but unless the person you are seeing is a single-doctor, private-practice, a doctors job depends on them following clinic/hospital protocol/objectives. The protocol and objectives are designed to make money, not necessarily to make you well.
All science is paid for by someone with an axe to grind
I don’t have much to add, be suspicious of science. And that is the point of science, to ask the question ‘is that really how the world works?’
Double-blind, placebo-controlled trials can’t test every truth
This is why mental health is wallowing in a cesspool of pills.
Politicians are not responsible to the people who voted for them
Let’s be honest, it costs a lot of money to get a candidate democratically voted in, and that candidate is responsible to their donors more than to their voters. Sorry.
Money is the ultimate ordering of society
This might be clear already, but the real pecking order of things is based on money and money alone in secular society.
Money is a lie, agreed upon
Your dollar, euro, yuan, dirham, etc. only has value because because as a society we have collectively engaged in the mass psychosis of believing it has value.
I have a bank account, and it has money in it, but I am constantly looking to trade my money into things that have intrinsic value.
The house always wins
Of casinos it is said that the house always wins, and in that context it’s obvious. But this truth expands into so many areas: You can’t outsmart credit card companies they provide rewards and services to increase profit and dominance. You can’t out manoeuvre the government, they make the rules. It’s impossible for a small company to get a treatment or product approved, pharmaceutical companies have rigged the game to make approval something so costly, only they can afford it.
You might read this and think I’m too cynical, I disagree. For me, life is easier to live knowing the house rules. This distance between reality and expectation is reduced and alongside it, stress.
None-theless, this is the water you and I swim in today, and unless your looking to have a mental breakdown, don’t think you’re going to change the nature of water.
