I get the sentiment, but I am a PC Gamer not because of the ability to tweak everything. I am a PC gamer because I don’t like giving up my games when a new generation of console comes around, and I like being able to access multiple stores for games.

and most of my games are on steam, the steamdeck seems a good value to me; no hassle access to my biggest game library and the possibility of adding my other games from other libraries: win-win, and I know that I am not the only pcgamer who doesn’t want to spend forever tinkering.
