Pandemic is an epidemic occurring worldwide, or over a very wide area, crossing international boundaries and usually affecting a large number of people.

The yearly flu season counts as a pandemic. I’ve heard people say that ‘who can know what to do? this has never happened before.’ Regarding the current pandemic. It’s happened before, and we didn’t put people on edge with a ton of new anxiety-inducing regulation.
In Spain total death did go up 15% in 2020 compared with 2019. Put a different way in 2020 1.04% of the population died when in 2019 0.89% of the population died. For the country where I live there is no way to slice the data except to admit that something more deadly happened.
Even so, the politics is the thing that seems most fishy to me. We can’t pretend that every life matters; we let people smoke and drive cars, we let people eat eggs. There are deaths attached to every one of these activities.
I am not opposed to the existence of vaccines, I am very opposed to obligation to vaccinate or lose fundamental human rights and be discriminated against based on this personal decision.
